Performance WALK between Deptford project space and Temporary Contemporary.

Film Screening (Pakistani Zombie Film) 6pm Onwards.

 

 3rd October 2009:

 1.30pm: READING GROUP on Ashis Nandy's essay,

 "The Fantastic India Pakistan Battle: The Future of the Past in South Asia".

 

 

 2.30pm: LEAVE THE LETTERS 'TILL WE'RE DEAD

 (Writer and critic Gemma Sharpe will continue her investigation into the

 interpersonal possibilities of art writing by reading fragments from her

 correspondences whilst living in Karachi.)

 

3pm: TRYST (WITH DESTINY)

A short play by Akkas Al-Ali, inspired by Saadat Hasan Manto's short story,

Toba Tek Singh. Directed by Erica Miller and starring Sonia Kaur and Marlon Day.

The films TRAIN TO PAKISTAN and LEGENDS OF PAKISTAN CRICKET

 will be screened from 1pm.

 

 

CLOSING 4th October 2009:

Reading Circle 'Declaration of WAR on present times'.
